Do what makes you happy. That’s a lesson we learned this week from Amy Tenenbaum, the Bath-based artist who quit her masters degree two-and-a-half years ago to pick up a tattoo gun. And she hasn’t looked back since! As much as she loves to tattoo both traditional and black-and-grey pieces, she describes her own work as “girly trad” for being very bright, bold and colourful. We sit down for a quickfire chat:

What has been the highlight of the year so far?
Meadows in the Mountains festival in the Bulgarian mountains. It was an incredible weekend.
